Description
This is one of those pieces that just evolved as I worked on it, I like to try new things. I designed and cut out the top piece and domed it with my new 30 piece Dapping Set 
then soldered it onto a flat disk, soldered the pin hindge and clutch on the back and a 4 prong low base head. I then used black "cold enamel" under the dome, a new process I hadn't done before, since I didn't like the outcome of the antique finish I tried. And set a round Garnet stone.

What is behind the dome? The reflection looks as if it could be another gem. Nice piece, and I think it's so cool you are experimenting. Great for the mind and art!
